A living regenerative network
Exotic Tropical Garden is a living regenerative network rooted in Sarawak, Borneo. Across three connected spaces, the project brings together land restoration, tropical planting, bamboo systems, herbal knowledge, creative retreat spaces, and community-based learning.
The Three Spaces
Each space holds a different role — sanctuary, food forest, community workshop — and together they form one continuous regenerative practice.

See the galleryWhat We Do
Practical, hands-on work across the three spaces — slow, patient, and rooted in what the land and the people actually need.
Teaching soil, water, and forest practice through direct work on the land.
Identifying, growing, and preparing tropical medicinal and herbal plants.
Planting and tending layered food systems on regenerated land.
Harvesting, treating, and building with bamboo as a long-life material.
Propagating native and tropical species for the network's own planting.
Workshops, open days, and shared work for neighbours and visitors.
Quiet spaces for art, music, writing, rest, and personal reflection.
Connecting older land knowledge with younger hands and questions.
Stewardship
The project is built from decades of hands-on land work, local knowledge, planting, observing, repairing, and creating spaces where people can learn directly from nature.
We are not promising a finished destination. We are opening up working places — a sanctuary, a food forest, and a community workshop — and inviting people to take part in the slow work of keeping them alive and useful.
